The 5th annual Maupintown Film Festival at the historic Jefferson School African American Heritage Center takes place July 12 -14, with the theme Back in the Day, Today and Tomorrow. Join Charlottesville’s only destination dedicated to showcasing stories about and by people of African descent, as we reminisce about, reflect on and reconnect with African American history and culture from the past, present and future, all through film.
