Beginning Quilt Making

Explore the history of quilting and learn to make a quilt that expresses your creative side.  Instructor Deloris Jones Thomas, whose exhibition is currently in our contemporary gallery, will teach the basic techniques for cutting, sewing and quilting.  Two basic patchwork patterns will be taught – four patch and nine patch.  No previous quilting experience required.  Supply list and instructions will be emailed after registration.

Class meets Saturdays, June 11 and 15, July 2 and 16, and August 6 and 20, 2022 in JSAAHC Classroom A; 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
