A hip hop creative writing workshop, on Friday 28th October, 2:30-4:30pm, at the Jefferson School African American Heritage Center. Featuring Mickey Factz, co-founder and professor at Pendulum Ink, the School of Hip Hop Lyricism; and A.D. Carson (UVA Music & The Rap Lab).
Join us for a hip hop showcase that evening, 7-8:30pm, hosted by Richelle Claiborne and Remy St. Clair with performances by Waterloo Hampton, Bakari Kennedy, and Lady Taij. Doors open 6:30pm.
